South East Edinburgh (SEE) ArtisansToolbox

A group of elders and members from Liberton Kirk & also Liberton Northfield have formed a team to carry out small jobs around the Churches and Halls. This is made up of handymen, some retired, with skills in various key areas.
Click here to visit Liberton Northfield’s web site.

It is also our intention to offer our services across the parishes and wider community.  We are aware of many older people living in the area and how all too often, even the smaller jobs can be challenging.  While we can’t take on large pieces of work or any new installations there will be many things that we might be able to help people with.

If in reading this you feel that we could be of help to you please contact us
on: 664-8264 and leave your name and contact number so that one of our team can get in touch.

We do not charge for our services but are often asked if we could accept a donation for something.  If, after we have visited you to assist with some work, you would like to make a donation, can we suggest a donation to the Kirkgate Trust. This is a fund to support our young people’s leaders.

Perhaps you might like to join our team of Artisans? If you would and have some skills to share we would love to have you join us. You do not need to be a member of a local church, just have a desire to serve the wider community.
The Artisans meet for coffee on the first Saturday morning of each month.
Contact Derek Jardine, Mob: 07913265912 for more details should you like to join us.

Provision of tools:
We recently received a number of pieces of equipment & tools that will assist us as we serve the wider community in Liberton.  A very generous donation of tools was made to us from the estate of John Silver (lecturer at Napier University).
